The occupation communist authorities of Belarus hid the truth about the tragedy, they tried to annihilate the tombs, constructed the gas-pipes and the road on the tombs, excavated and removed many remains of victims. The official propaganda maintained that the victims of the German nazi occupation are buried in Kurapaty. But at the end of the 1980s Mr. Zianon Pazniak, a well-known archeologist and historian, has carried on the first archeological excavations in Kurapaty. His discoveries and evidences of the witnesses of the tragedy - inhabitants of the neighbouring villages - have confirmed that there where Belarusans who have been killed and buried by the Russian communist secret police NKVD in Kurapaty in 1937-1941. Until recently the propaganda of the Lukashenka regime refuted these facts confirmed by the state commissions in the 1990s. The followers of the
terrorist regime fear the truth and the responsibility for the criminal acts committed against the people.
In 1988 thousands of persons came to Kurapaty in order to commemorate the innocent victims. The history of the Belarusan Popular Front "Adradzennie" (the BPF "Rebirth") began namely since the first rallies in Kurapaty. The BPF fought under the leadership of Zianon Pazniak for the liberation of Belarus from the Russian occupation. We have achieved the independence of our country in 1991. In those years the people began to erect the crosses in Kurapaty in order to create the National Memorial. Nowadays the BPF is defending Belarus from the Russian aggression.
The new act of the tragedy in Kurapaty has been started on September 20, 2001, at the day of the false "inauguration" of the usurper Lukashenka who had falsified once more the presidential elections. Members of the Belarusan Popular Front "Adradzennie" and of its Conservative Christian Party - BPF have obstructed the way to the tractors and defended Kurapaty during six weeks. We have erected hundreds of crosses in Kurapaty. On November 8, 2001 immediately after the satanic celebrations of the communist revolution of 1917 the Lukashenka regime has started a massive attack in Kurapaty. Members of the Conservative

It is necessary to note that the destroyers or our holy place nave some accomplices.. They call themselves ’specialists* and "art historians". They have formed some committees and started to elaborate new "projects of memorial" in Kurapaty together with the regime and the organizations which are acting under the auspices of the KGB. These "specialists" tried to protest against the erection of the crosses in Kurapaty and the National Memorial. They would construct a pseudomemorial of ferro-concrete with the red star on the territory of the holy place. When they attempts have collapsed they began to collect money for the "fence" and so on.
Members of the Conservative Christian Party - BPF continue to create the National Memorial in Kurapaty erecting the crosses in spite of the activity of the agents provocateurs and the illegal Lukashenka regime.

Kurapaty ist ein Heiligtum des belarussischen Volkes, wo die russischkommunistischen Okkupanten mehr als 250.000 unserer Märtyrer, der unschuldigen Menschen ermordet hatten.

Kurapatenwald neben Minsk ist eine der vielen Orte in Belarus, wo die Opfer des russischen Terrors (in den Jahren 1917-1941) gegen unseres Volk ermordet und begraben wurden. Man kann Kurapaty mit Auschwitz und Buchenwaid vergleichen, so groß die Zahl der Opfer ist.
Die kommunistischen Okkupazionsbehörden des Belarußlands hielten die Wahrheit über die Tragödie in Kurapaty viele Jahre geheim. Sie versuchten mehrmals die Grabstätten vernichten, bauten in Kurapaty Gasvernleitungen und eine Straße, fuhren viele sterblichen Überreste aus. Die offizielle Propagandę behauptete, daß in Kurapaty die Opfer der deutsch-faschistischen Okkupazion begraben sind. Aber Hr. Zianon Pazniak, der bekannte Archäologe und Historiker, hat die ersten archäologischen Ausgrabungen in Kurapaty am Ende der 1980er Jahren ausgeführt. Seine Entdeckungen und viele Angaben der Zeugen (die in den Nachbardörfern in den 1930er Jahren gelebt hatten) haben bestätigt, daß in Kurapaty die Opfer der russischen Geheimpolizei NKWD begraben sind. Sie wurden in den Jahren 1937-1941 erschossen. Bis zur letzten Zeit die Lukaschenka-Propagande dementirte diese Fakte, die von den Staatskommissionen in den 1990er Jahren bestätigt wurden. Die Nachvolger des terroristischen Regims haben Angst vor der Wahrheit und der Verantwottung für den Volksmord.

In 1988 Zehntausende von Menschen kamen nach Kurapaty, um Andenken der Opfer zu ehren. Die Tätigkeit der Belarussischen Volksfront „Adradzennie" (die BVF) unter der Leitung von Zianon Pazniak hat Belarus von der russischen Okkupazion befreit und in 1991 die Unabhängigkeit unseres Landes erlangt. In jenen Jahren die Leute begannen die Kreuze in Kurapaty zu errichten und das Volksdenkmal zu schaffen. Jetzt die Volkfront ferteidigt Belarus von der russischen Agression.
Der neue Akt der Tragödie in Kurapaty begann am 20. September 2001, am Tage der falschen „Inaugurazion" des Uzurpatoren Lukaschenka, der noch einmal die Ergäbnisse der Presidenzwahlen falsifiziert hat. Mitglieder der Belarussischen Volksfront und ihrer Konsrvativ-Christlichen Partei - BVF verteidigten Kurapaty gegen die Traktoren im Laufe von sechs Wochen. Wir naben Hunderte von Kreuzen an den Grabstätten errichtet. Am 8. November 2001, am nächsten Tag nach dem satanischen Feiertag der bolschewistischen Oktoberrevoluzion des 1917 das Regime ergrief eine neue Offensive in Kurapaty. Die Traktoren vernichteten die Grabstätten. Mitglieder der Konservativ-Christlichen Partei - BVF verteidigten das Heiligtum, sie trugen die Kreuze mit sich. Viele Menschen wurden von den KGB- und Polizeibeamten verprügelt, verwundet, gefoltert und verhaftet. Mehr als 100 Kreuze wurden vernichtet.
