I am in receipt of a copy of the fine letter which you sent to all Heads of Missions to the United Nations, calling for a full scale investigation of the Russian Communist aggression against the non-Russian nations of the U.S.S.R. and requesting free elections under United Nations supervision in all those Russian occupied countries. You are to be congratulated for this timely and realistic effort to save the United Nations from collapse, which it will do if it continues along the present road of blind unrealities in dealing with the Russians.
I urge you to send copies of this letter to all the leading members of the House of Representatives of the United States, with a short covering letter explaining that you do so in the hope that they will assit this effort by supporting the proposal of Congressman Daniel Flood to establish a Committee on the Captive Nations in Congress. Such a Committee is necessary to expose the truth about Colonialism and Imperialism under the Russian communists, because the record shows the United Nations has been unable or reluctant to do it. A reading of the new Khrushchev, so-called "Workers Manifesto", underscores the importance of the United States taking the initiative to expose and condemn the last remaining colonial empire on earth The Russian Communist Empire.
Again my congratulations for the initiative you have taken for the Captive Nations aid to save the United Nations from pending disaster.

Арганізатарам Беларускіх рэспубліканскіх клюбаў ад самага пачатку быў др.Вітаўт Кіпель, які займаў становішча старшыні фэдэрацыі да верасьня 1982 году. На яго месца быў выбраны інж. Васіль Мельяновіч.
К.Мерляк, прыехаўшы з Маямі, рэарганізаваў раней зарганізаваны Беларускі рэспубліканскі клюб на район Квінс, Нью Ёрк, ўлучыў яго ў фэдэрацыю.
Асноўная дзейнасьць у клюбах праяўлялася кожныя 4 гады падчас прэзыдэнцкіх выбараў, а ў міжчасе актыўнасьць была абмежавана да палагоджаньняў розных беларускіх справаў перад уладамі. На працягу 70-х і 80-х гадоў беларусы праз сваю фэдэрацыю ў рэспубліканскай радзе нацыянальнасьцей мелі доступ да ўрадавых чыньнікаў, a галоўнае да Белага Дому.
Беларускія рэспубліканскія клюбы праявілі асаблівуюактыўнасьць у выбарах на Прэзыдэнта ЗША Рональда Рэйгана й віцэ-прэзыдэнта Джорджа Буша у 1980 годзе.
Да перавыбараў Рэйгана й Буша ў 1984 годзе рэспубліканцы пачалі загадзя выбарчую падрыхтоўку. У травені 1984 году ў Вашынгтоне адбыўся зьезд рады рэспубліканскіх нацыянальных групаў, у якім актыўны ўдзел узяла Беларуска-Амэрыканская Рэспубліканская Фэдэрацыя.
Дэлегатамі на гэты зьезд былі: Я.Раковіч, К. Мерляк, В.Мельяновіч, а заступнікамі Р.Станкевіч, Д.Мельяновіч. Зьезд адбыўся 18, 19, 20 травеня ў гатэлі «Марыёт» Вашынгтон. зь вялікай праграмай, якая складалася з прэсавай канфэрэнцыі, балю свабоды й прыняцьцём у Белым Доме 20 травеня. Беларускую фэдэрацыю ў Белым Доме рэпрэзэнтаваў К.Мерляк, дзе ён меў нагоду, пасьля прыняцьця, спаткацца з Прэзыдэнтам Злучаных Штатаў Амэрыкі Р. Рэйганам і спадарыняй Н. Рэйган.
У перавыбарчай кампаніі Рэйгана—Буша К.Мерляк ўзяў удзел у арганізацыі беларускага актыву ў выбарах. Ён здоліў зарэгістраваць у рэспубліканскай выбарчай кватэры ў Вашынгтоне больш за 600 беларускіх актыўных рэспубліканцаў.
У выбарах на Прэзыдэнта ЗША Джоржа Буша й віцэ-прэзыдэнта К.Куэйла ў 1988 годзе К.Мерляк належаў да Дарадчае рады нацыянальнасьцей, якая была паклікана галоўнай выбарчай кватэрай у Вашынгтоне.

Акруговая ўправа Беларуска-Амэрыканскага Задзіночаньня ў Амэрыцы, адзін з найбольшых аддзелаў, дзеяў да агульнага сходу. які адбыўся 14 чэрвеня 1964 году. Др.Ст.Станкевіч, старшыня Галоўнае Ўправы БАЗА, бачучы, што ягоная групоўка знаходзіцца ў меншыні. забраў сваіх прыхільнікаў і пакінуў сход. На 27 чэрвеня яны склікалі свой сход і стварылі другі аддзел БАЗА ў Нью Ёрку. Такім чынам, у Нью Ёрку да 18 верасьня 1965 году дзеялі два аддзелы БАЗА. Ад гэтае даты арыгінальны аддзел БАЗА мусіў зьмяніць назоў на БеларускаАмэрыканскае Аб’еднаньне ў Нью Ёрку, а гэтым самым поўнасьцю адсэпаравацца ад БАЗА.
Першыя тры гады Аб’еднаньне знаходзілася ў царкоўным будынку БАПЦ у Брукліне. Галоўная Ўправа й аддзел БАЗА зрабілі сваюсядзібу ў фундацыі імя Крэчэўскага ў Квінсе.
У кастрычніку 1968 году Аб’еднаньне з прыходам сьв.Кірылы Тураўскага пакінула царкву, залю й канцылярыю пры 401 Атлянтык Авэнюў Брукліне. Ад гэтага часу дзейнасьцьБеларуска-Амэрыканскага Аб’еднаньня спалучалася з рэлігійнаю дзейнасыдю прыходу сьв. Кірылы Тураўскага пры 104-29 Атлянтык Авэню, Рычмонд Гіл, Нью Ёрк.
Аб’еднаньне разам з прыходам праводзіла штодзённую грамадзканацыянальную працу на працягу 25 гадоў.
